In my work as a counsellor and psychotherapist, I utilize an integrative, egalitarian, and collaborative approach to therapy that is guided by the unique needs, preferences, and personalities of
my clients. My approach strives to encompass the emotional, cognitive, social, physical, and spiritual aspects of being human and to honour the connection between mind, body, and soul. My work is
informed by various well-established therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR,
Jungian Psychology, Psychodynamic Theory, Buddhist Psychology, and Mindfulness Practice.
My aim is to provide a supportive, safe, and compassionate environment in which my clients can discover, embrace, and mobilize their personal potential, inner resources, and innate wisdom in order to explore new possibilities, address issues of concern, and overcome challenges. I believe that every person has the right and ability to find their own path - the direction, solution, or change that fits for them. Therefore, I see my role as that of a guide, or more specifically, as a facilitator of the therapeutic process. It is always an honour and a privilege to accompany my clients on the very personal and individual journey of healing, change, and growth.
As a therapist and fellow human being, I value and respect the powerful life force which lies within all of us and which constantly strives to return to equilibrium, harmony, and health. Therefore, I am dedicated to helping others discover their own ways to nurture and support this life force in order to create greater possibilities for a dignified, satisfying, and successful life. A life that fosters personal growth, as well as meaningful connections with significant others, community, and world. In other words, a life that cherishes and nourishes mind, body, and soul.
